Privacy Policy

• Identity & contact: name, phone number, email, address, date of birth, family details.
• KYC & financial: PAN, Aadhaar, GST number, bank account and IFSC details, used for onboarding, payments, and commission payouts.
• Project & site data: solar project specifications, site measurements, roof/property photos, installation photos, and site-survey location data.
• Documents: uploaded ID proofs, passport-size photos, electricity bills, land tax receipts, and similar supporting documents.
• Transaction data: payments, invoices, loan details, and commission records.
• Account & usage data: login credentials (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text), user role, and basic app activity logs for security and support purposes.

• To deliver the core service: onboarding, project tracking, measurement and installation workflows, and payment collection.
• To verify identity (KYC) and process payments, loans, and channel-partner commissions.
• To provide customer support and respond to service or support tickets.
• To send account-related notifications (project status, payment confirmations, approvals).
• To meet legal, tax, and regulatory record-keeping obligations applicable to solar installation and financial services in India.

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only as needed to run the service:

• With the Marketing Employee and/or Channel Partner assigned to your project, so they can carry out onboarding, measurement, and installation.
• With Operations staff (Accounts, Installation, Warehouse teams) as needed to process your project, payment, or support request.
• With government or regulatory authorities where required by law (e.g. tax, subsidy, or net-metering compliance).
• With service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. hosting), bound to use data only to provide that service.

We keep personal data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you request account deletion (see our Account Deletion page):

• Your personal profile (name, contact details, address, uploaded documents/photos) and login credentials are permanently deleted.
• Financial records (payments, invoices, commissions) and solar project/installation records are retained as required by applicable tax, audit, and warranty regulations — no longer linked to your login access.

Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not plain text. Access to customer, project, and financial data is restricted by role — each user type can only see the data relevant to their role. All web and API traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.

The Souro Samriddhi mobile app may request the following device permissions, only for the stated purpose:

• Camera / Photos: to capture or upload site photos, installation photos, and KYC documents.
• Storage: to attach existing documents/photos from your device to a form submission.
• Internet: required for the app to function — all features connect to our secure backend.

Souro Samriddhi is a business platform for solar sales, installation, and operations. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, children under 18.
